Over 500 years of history
Located in Sighisoara Medieval Fortress, the building, now transformed into "Casa Georgius Krauss", harmoniously integrates itself into the historical landmarks of the architectural site given by: The Catholic Church in the Neighborhood, the Central Square, the Sighisoara City Hall and the Clock Tower - tourist attractions of great interest.
The restoration and refunctioning of the building in the guesthouse was made taking care that the details specific to the original construction, from the structure (vaults, roofing, gaps), to the finishes that include wall paintings, frescoes, wooden cassette and painted ceilings dated back to 1600 , are beeing kept.
Here lived and wrote the history of Sighisoara and Transylvania the noble notary Georgius Krauss.

     ·  Rooms were comfortable and spacious! Parking was very easy, and clear instructions to get to our rooms. Breakfast was very tasty.

     ·  Phantastischer Service und unübertroffene Freundlichkeit. Tolles Ambiente im Hotel und super Zimmer. Die Speisen im Restaurant erstklassig. Die Lage ist die Beste im Ort. Ruhig und total mittendrin. Schässburg ist ein märchenhafter Ort mit tollen Menschen. Wenn nochmals Rumanien, da nur an diesem Ort. Vielen Dank für die unvergesslichen Urlaubstage

     ·  The house is located in the center and it is so beautiful with so much flair. Your stuff is really wonderful, so friendly and helpfull" The breakfast and the dinner was very good!
     ·  The parking situation is a bit complicated, the brace i the middle of the bed is not very comfortable and our room and the whole house is not possible for people with handicaps.
    Dear Susanne, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. As you have emphasized, attention to the needs of our guests is our mission. Thus, the room in which you spent your stay is a twin room, due to the beam separating the 2 beds. For those who want a room with a double bed, they can choose between the 7 rooms that are thus arranged. Regarding your mention that it is not a guest house suitable for people with disabilities, you are right, this aspect is not specified anywhere, because in a historical monument building, interventions are not allowed.      ·  Am revenit cu drag pentru ca locul este amplasat foarte bine, linistit, curat, cu oameni veseli si serviabili. Totul foarte bine organizat si mancarea unica si delicioasa. Vom reveni mereu aici cand vom alege Sighisoara ca destinatie. :)
